The Application includes the following functions:

3.         OPAP’s COMMITMENT FOR PRIVACY

To best meet the players’ expectation and forge with them the strongest links possible, we are led to collect and process information about the User’s behavior within the application. Users must be assured that we take the best care to guarantee the confidentiality of every information exchanged between them and us. We undertake not to violate your privacy and ensure full transparency and security. As a part of this commitment, we have implemented this Privacy Policy, which governs your use of the Application on any mobile device (such as a tablet or phone) and applies to all people downloading the Application from Google Play ("Users"). Our Privacy Policy explains how we with use and protect information in relation to the Application, and your choices about the processing of such information.

Please spend some time for carefully reviewing our Privacy Policy.

4.         INFORMATION WE COLLECT

What information does the Application obtain automatically?

The Application obtains automatically the UUID (Universally Unique Identifier).

The Application also uses third-party behavior analytics tools (Google Analytics), which allow OPAP to collect information relating to such UUID, such as average time spent, sessions, screens viewed, actions and clicks, as well as other information about the way such UUID uses the Application.

For the proper operation of the Application, whenever there is an incoming call during the operation of the Application, you must enable the relevant functions in the mobile device by opting-in when operating for the first time after the installation of the Application (READ_PHONE_STATE permission).

Does the Application use camera functions of the mobile device?

The Application has a utility allowing the camera of the mobile device to scan and recognize QR codes of retail coupons/slips of OPAP games; this allows the User to verify if the slip is winning, lost, paid, and/or by what amount. In order to perform such scans, you must have an active data connection and enable the camera function of the mobile device, by opting-in when operating such Application utility for the first time after the installation of the Application (CAMERA permission).

You may at any time opt-out from further allowing us to have access to your camera function, through the camera settings of your mobile device.

Does the Application send me push notifications?

After you have scanned a retail coupon/slip of OPAP games, a smart message may be sent to your mobile (push notification), informing you about the result only in case of winnings. The push notifications sent may also contain commercial or marketing information about any of the OPAP games.

If order to receive such push notifications, you must have an active data connection and enable the relevant functions of the mobile device, by opting-in when operating for the first time after the installation of the Application (GET_ACCOUNT and READ_CONTACTS permissions).

You may at any time opt-out from further allowing us to send you push notifications, through the notification settings of your mobile device.

Does the Application use location information of the mobile device?

Based on your current location, the nearest OPAP stores appear. In order to find the nearest OPAP store, though, you must have an active data connection and enable the location function of the mobile device, by opting-in when operating for the first time after the installation of the Application (LOCATION permission).

You may at any time opt-out from further allowing us to have access to your location data, through the location settings of your mobile device.

What other information does the Application require me to provide?

The Application does not require you to provide any personal user data or information, other than that identified above.

You may, though, provide OPAP through the Application with the following information:

You may at any time opt-out from further allowing us to send you email communications (newsletters), by clicking on the “unsubscribe link” provided in such newsletters. You may, also, at any time opt-out from further providing us information from Facebook, by restricting the privacy settings for third parties approvals of Facebook.

What information the Application does not collect?

The Application does not collect, store or process any personal user data or information from the mobile device’s local storage, phone accounts or contacts. No such user data are submitted to a remote server or stored for any purpose.

The Application does not require registration for its operation, so no relevant personal information shall be requested for using or continuing to use the Application.

The digital slips, which you create through the Application, are stored on a local level (i.e., in the storage of the mobile device), so these slips may not, for example, be viewed on another mobile device where you have downloaded and from which you also use the Application.

When and for how long we keep your information?

We will collect and process information pursuant to this Privacy Policy for as long as you have the Application installed and use the Application.

Following uninstallation of the Application, the UUID shall cease to apply. OPAP may retain information collected for a commercially reasonable time thereafter for backup, archival, and/or audit purposes.

If you reinstall the Application, another UUID (Universally Unique Identifier) shall be created and the new information collected shall be related to such (new) UUID.
